Pet Passports

Pet Passports are available at the surgery. This involves a course of rabies vaccinations, followed by a blood test 2 weeks later, and then a passport issued according to the correct results of this test. Please be aware that, although you may travel, you may not re-enter the UK until 6 months from the date of the blood test. Also be aware of further threats to your pet whilst abroad. These include tick and mosquito diseases not currently present in the UK. Please arrange an individual parasite prevention travelling plan with the vets at the surgery. It is your responsibility to ensure that your rabies vaccinations are kept up to date, and to arrange for tick and tapeworm treatment 24-48hrs before returning to the UK.
